Vacuum Bell Jars
Applied Vacuum Engineering’s clear cast acrylic vacuum chambers are manufactured from high quality materials, selected to withstand vacuum conditions, whilst offering a full 360 degree view. Suitable for vacuum applications down to 5 x 10^-2mbar, these chambers are an ergonomic replacement for heavy glass bell jars and cylinders.
Each chamber is designed, developed and manufactured with nearly 50 years of knowledge and experience in high vacuum engineering. They are compliant with ASTM D3078-02 and ISO 20484 testing standards and to ensure quality, all AVE chambers are vacuum leak tested.

All of our acrylic chambers are annealed to reduce stresses built up during the manufacturing process, they are then vacuum tested down to a pressure of 1 x 10-2mbar and helium leak tested.
